Creating Domain Account on Gmail 

Step 1. Follow the given URL:  http://www.google.com/a/cpanel/domain/new 

Step 2. Click on Administrator: I own or control this domain (put the domain name just domain name, do not use http://www. Sign e.g. domainname.com) Click Get Started 

Step 3. Account administrator form will appear just Fill out form 

First Name: Use Client Name

Last Name: Use Client Surname

Email Address: Use email address

Phone: Client Ph. No.

Country: India

Job Title: Client Designation

Click on I Understand

Organization Name: Client Company Name

Select Type:

Size Of Organization: Select 6-10

Does Organization Provide Email Address?: No

Sales Team to Guide you: No

Click on continue

Again Same Option will appear then check red mark for errors or wrong information.

Then Create username as client email id (e.g. gk (this is main email address you need to use this email address to manage your domain on google so make sure that you are using the right one)

Then set Password & Re-enter the password. 

The Account which u have trying to create is successfully created now click on Change domainname.com CNAME Record and Click Continue

Click on I’ve Completed the steps above. And then click on Launch guide. One New window will open close that window.

Dashboard Option will open in front of you automatically. Click on activate email under Email option.

Then go to Email addresses option where u can add mutiple email accounts under set domain.

This was the last step to google domain activation process, login again to this panel if any changes needed.  Your Domain Control Panel url will be https://www.google.com/a/yourdomainname.com & your Email link would be https://mail.google.com/a/yourdomain.com

 

Setting up Hosting account for MX Zone to Google

Note: Steps given below is for Linux Cpanel, you have to find the option on your own if its not Cpanel.

Then go to Hosting CPanel using username and password of the domain which u have created gmail account.

Log in to Control Panel and go to Second Tab Mails there Last option MX Entry.

Put Change Max Entry for Do Not Change Anything from Drop down Do not Change Priority then in the inputbox type ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM

Then Click on Change

You have successfully activated the Setting for gmail account for the domain.

here you go your domain will start working within max 48Hrs. aftre this procedure. If having any difficulty fill free to contact me. I’ll be able to help you out.

Once you enter in Control Panel of google Click on User and Groups and then click on Create a New User then create accounts which clients has requested and set username and password (when u create a email account it will give u the password automatically so copy it and paste it in text file and then send those details to client.)

Send actual link to client with created username & password but make sure that u’ll test it first that all username and password is working or not and then send him.

IMP Note:

  1. If client doesn’t want Google should be highlighted then just let me know I’ll fix it. Its long procedure and tell client that the Actual URL will take 48HRS to get activate.
  2. This given step is for Cpanel(Linux Hosting) for Windows Hosting i dont know the application used coz there are so many so just contact me, I’ll complete this step. Or simply contact your Hosting Provider.

Setting email accounts or manage email accounts in Linux hosting (CPanel)

This step is to create email account on Linux Hosting 

Note: If you are planning to create email account using gmail standard edition for the client then do not use this steps. These steps are only for to create email account under linux Cpanel.

Step 1. Go to hosting control panel of domain using the client domain and password. Use http://domainname.com:2082 for Linux account.

Step 2.  Once you login go to Second Tab Mails there is 1st option Email Accounts. Click on it.

Step 3. To Change email Password then click on Chnage Password (located at the right side of every Email address) and change the password.

Step 4. If you want to create a new email account then  Enter Email – Use email as a email id (do not use ‘@domainname.com’ just use first word)

Password – Set the password to access the email account

Password (Again) – Re Type the password same as above

Quota (MB) – Do not modify default value which is (250 MB) 

Then Click on Create and email account procedure completed

Setting new hosting account for the registered domain in Linux hosting using Reseller Panel or Account

Managing Hosting Account for the registered domain

Note: Steps given below are on the basis of Linux CPanel, Fo Windows Hosting Please contact hosting provider for help.

Step 1. Go to reseller hosting control panel using given link by the hosting provider, use given username and password then click on ok. (if it is prompting 3rd time for password or username and unable to login then don’t use it any more contact hosting provider coz it will start the broute proccess and you wont be able to login for next 30min.)

Step 2. Once you login click on Add Packages. Set following details for the domain

Set New Package Name – Use Domain name (do not use http://www.)

            Quota (MB) – Give a Space in MB (if you want to set 1gb then type 1000)

            Bandwidth (MB) – set as per your requirements

            Max FTP Accounts – set as per your requirements

            Max Email Accounts – set as per your requirements

            Max Email List – put the same no. as email accounts has

            Max Database – set as per your requirements

            Max Sub Domains – set as per your requirements

            Max Parked Domains – set as per your requirements

            Max Add-on Domains – set as per your requirements

           Change Theme – X3 (x3 is most used and quick accessible theme)

Then Click on ADD 

Step 3. Click on Create a New Account Set following details for the domain (option is available at the left side)

            Domain Name – Use Domain name (do not use http://www.)

            Username – it will automatically create the username if not then create first 8 words of domain. Sometimes it may give u an error that means domain username is already exist then create username as per your choice.

            Password – Set password using Generate Button, Remember the password you have created.

            Email – Set Email id 

            Choose a Package – Select the same domain name from the list

Then Click on Create

Step 4. You have Successfully Created account but do not change or close the window wait for the details, once it shows you all details

Managing Domain and pointing to the Hosting Account

Follow the instruction if registrar is “Enom”

Step 1. Go to the Domain Control Panel

Step 2. In DNS Information click on Edit. Then change name servers to “Your Newnameserver 1” and second “Your Newnameserver 2” (if your desired nameserver is already there then do not change it anything)

Step 3. You can change the contact information of domain in that case click on contact information (located at the top left side)

Step 4. Log out from the Domain Control Panel (located at the top side right)
